About Us
Hello and a very warm welcome to Huddersfield On Tour (HOT!) which is a global platform for local Creatives such as Musicians, Authors, Artists, Rappers, DJ’s and Poets.
This website came about due to the incredible Independent Artists I have come to know and love over the years and my desire to support them, and myself, in sharing and promoting our creations.
As such, this site gives fans and the wider public access to Artistic Creations such as Music, Art & Stories, in many cases for free, as well as promoting our gigs, events and tours to the people of Huddersfield and beyond.
I am incredibly honoured to have launched this website, on my 50th birthday on May 11th 2023, with the release of the world-class Compilation from the most humble Bare-Knuckle Soul Artist, Producer and Educator; THABO. I am very proud to have Executively Produced ‘THABO – The Compilation’ on his behalf.
You are invited to listen to the 23-track Compilation, which spans the breadth of his almost 2-decade-long music career, on his HOT! page. I am sure you will love it!
We also launched with B Sharpe’s inspiring memoir as a free e-book. Termed ‘The New Bible’ by Price, feedback suggests that it is a page-turner and has been of great support and inspiration to many readers, which was my intention.
The Launch of HOT! was promoted in a Jolene & THABO interview through the Music in the Hudd program at Kirklees Local Television.
Soon after launching, the Audio Book The Wise Ones joined our platform; Written by Andrew Mendez, Illustrated by FREAKone of Freakstylez Studio, and narrated by Queen Jolene.
Since then we have been very blessed to include Harlem Gem on the site with their very moving album, ‘Hungry’, which was released on CD in the late 1990’s through the Boss label, and features DeeBo General. (The song ‘Friends’ was inspired by one of my very close friendships during the 90’s!)
We then had the pleasure of welcoming Freakstylez Studio aboard the HOT! initiative where we showcase some of FREAKone’s finest pieces of out-of-this-world Art, as well as promoting his Art Tuition and Bonsai Cultivation classes.
As of March 2026, I’m very proud to say that we now have 17 Artists featured on Huddersfield On Tour.
This includes Collective Sessions which organised and hosted events that brought people together and showcased Northern Talent over many years. Collective Sessions page is located within the Affiliates Section on the main menu bar.
The Affiliates Section is for promoting local ventures, initiatives, organisations and businesses. Get in touch using the contact form if you’d like to promote what you do by becoming a HOT! Affiliate.
We are also very pleased to now have a Collections page, which is aimed at Collectors and Philanthropists who may wish to purchase any of our 3 ‘Unique HOT! Collections’, curated by Queen Jolene. In buying a Collection you will be ‘Supporting Living Artists’ in our Creative Endeavours and Initiatives.
