Founded in 2021, New Brook Entertainment is dedicated to creating opportunities for local musicians, singers, and entertainers to showcase their talent in a supportive and welcoming environment. Built on a genuine passion for community and creativity, the company exists to give back – offering a platform where emerging artists can grow, not only as performers but also in confidence and self-belief.

Since its launch, New Brook Entertainment has worked with many local artists, booking talent across a range of respected venues and helping to nurture a vibrant local music scene. With a strong belief in making things happen for people, the company has become a trusted space for artists to develop, connect, and thrive.
 
New Brook Entertainment currently hosts open mic nights across five well-regarded venues, including a long-standing presence at The Head of Steam, where it has been running events and supporting live music for over four years.
 
A popular fortnightly Wednesday open mic at The Railway in Berry Brow has also become a key part of the local music scene, with more than 30 artists this year securing paid gigs through performing at these open mic sessions – firmly establishing it as a destination for live musicians in Huddersfield.
 
Continuing to grow, the company has recently expanded with three new monthly open mic nights at The Shepherds Arms in Cowcliffe, Ten Fourteen in Holmfirth and also Meltham Liberal Club, creating even more opportunities for performers to take the stage and be part of a welcoming, creative community.
